Tesla.Multipart.headers/1 then joins these params verbatim with \"; \" to construct the outgoing Content-Type header value. A param containing \\r\\n splits the header line, allowing arbitrary headers to be injected into the outbound HTTP request. Any application that forwards untrusted input (such as a user-supplied charset or parameter string) into add_content_type_param/2 is affected.\n\nThis issue affects tesla: from 0.8.0 before 1.18.3.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:L/SA:N","score":2.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":3.7},"cwes":["CWE-113"],"references":["https://cna.erlef.org/cves/CVE-2026-48596.html","https://github.com/elixir-tesla/tesla/commit/23601edac5d22ba9407b427967b5bdbda201aec2","https://github.com/elixir-tesla/tesla/commit/6ebfdb9abe9c6f119408045b933d82462decd351","https://github.com/elixir-tesla/tesla/security/advisories/GHSA-q7jx-v53g-848w","https://osv.dev/vulnerability/EEF-CVE-2026-48596"],"products":["elixir-tesla:tesla"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:37:48.043517290+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-48596","score":0.00239,"percentile":0.15044,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
