Prior to 2.8.0, two distinct authorization defects in the team settings allowed any authenticated panel user to take over the RBAC system. Settings/Team/Index had no mount() authorization. Any authenticated user could load the page and use its public actions to create new roles and delete other users, including administrators. Settings/Team/RolePermission gated its write actions on the read-only view_users permission. Any user holding view_users could grant themselves or any other user arbitrary permissions, including manage_users and edit_orders, effectively escalating to full panel administrator from a read-only account. Combined, these two defects allow a low-privilege authenticated user to obtain administrator privileges and remove the legitimate administrators from the panel. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.8.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.9},"cwes":["CWE-269","CWE-285"],"references":["https://github.com/shopperlabs/shopper/security/advisories/GHSA-c3qp-2ggw-xjg7"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:37:48.043517290+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-47744","score":0.00321,"percentile":0.2512,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
