Versions 7.1.8 and prior are vulnerable to authenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE). Any user with valid DbGate credentials can execute arbitrary OS commands as root by exploiting an unsanitized `functionName` parameter in the `/runners/load-reader` endpoint. The `require = null` mitigation is trivially bypassed via dynamic `import()`. Version 7.1.9 contains a patch.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","score":9.4},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-77","CWE-78"],"references":["https://github.com/dbgate/dbgate/releases/tag/v7.1.9","https://github.com/dbgate/dbgate/security/advisories/GHSA-wm5r-5qp3-5vxf"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:45:53.305392138+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-47670","score":0.01757,"percentile":0.77953,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-wm5r-5qp3-5vxf","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-wm5r-5qp3-5vxf","summary":"Authenticated Remote Code Execution via loadReader functionName code injection in DbGate","modified":"2026-06-05T16:56:28.397382Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"dbgate-api","purl":"pkg:npm/dbgate-api","ranges":["<7.1.9"],"fixed":["7.1.9"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
