Prior to versions 8.6.78 and 9.9.1-alpha.2, Parse Server's GraphQL endpoint discloses schema metadata to unauthenticated callers through Did you mean ...? suggestions embedded in GraphQL validation-error messages. An unauthenticated caller who knows only the public application id can iteratively send malformed queries to reconstruct class names, field names, argument names, mutation names, and input-object fields. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.78 and 9.9.1-alpha.2.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.9},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-209"],"references":["https://github.com/parse-community/parse-server/pull/10467","https://github.com/parse-community/parse-server/pull/10468","https://github.com/parse-community/parse-server/security/advisories/GHSA-8cph-rgr4-g5vj"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T11:33:08.859761529+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-47248","score":0.00291,"percentile":0.21501,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-8cph-rgr4-g5vj","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-8cph-rgr4-g5vj","summary":"Parse Server's GraphQL \"Did you mean ...?\" validation suggestions disclose schema to unauthenticated callers","modified":"2026-06-16T13:26:19.305510429Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"parse-server","purl":"pkg:npm/parse-server","ranges":[">=9.0.0 <9.9.1-alpha.2"],"fixed":["9.9.1-alpha.2"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"parse-server","purl":"pkg:npm/parse-server","ranges":["<8.6.78"],"fixed":["8.6.78"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
