{"cve":"CVE-2026-46645","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-10T23:16:47.310","modified":"2026-07-23T09:10:00.113","status":"Deferred","description":"SQLAdmin is a flexible Admin interface for SQLAlchemy models. Prior to version 0.25.1, the ajax_lookup endpoint in application.py bypasses the is_accessible() access control check that all other endpoints enforce. If a developer restricts model access by overriding is_accessible(), an authenticated user can still query that model's data through the ajax_lookup endpoint — silently bypassing the restriction. This issue has been patched in version 0.25.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/smithyhq/sqladmin/commit/b0d3a19fb9b074a9ed243de46930108375dfbb98","https://github.com/smithyhq/sqladmin/pull/1035","https://github.com/smithyhq/sqladmin/releases/tag/0.25.1","https://github.com/smithyhq/sqladmin/security/advisories/GHSA-54mc-gghv-4cfj"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:38:48.522727527+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46645","score":0.00279,"percentile":0.20399,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-54mc-gghv-4cfj","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-54mc-gghv-4cfj","summary":"SQLAdmin: Authorization Bypass on `ajax_lookup`","modified":"2026-07-13T16:42:34.470620940Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"sqladmin","purl":"pkg:pypi/sqladmin","ranges":["<0.25.1"],"fixed":["0.25.1"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-3073","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-3073","summary":"SQLAdmin: Authorization Bypass on `ajax_lookup`","modified":"2026-07-13T16:33:12.404033375Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"sqladmin","purl":"pkg:pypi/sqladmin","ranges":["<0.25.1"],"fixed":["0.25.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
