{"cve":"CVE-2026-4661","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-11T07:16:46.513","modified":"2026-07-13T16:59:13.647","status":"Deferred","description":"The WP CTA – Sticky CTA Builder, Generate Leads, Promote Sales plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based blind SQL Injection via the 'fildname' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.2. This is due to insufficient escaping of user-supplied column names in the ajaxCheck() method and lack of preparation in the $wpdb->update() call. The vulnerability is compounded by the complete absence of authorization checks and the endpoint being registered for unauthenticated users via wp_ajax_nopriv_. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SQL queries and extract sensitive information from the database via time-based blind SQL injection techniques, including administrator password hashes.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/easy-sticky-sidebar/tags/1.7.4/inc/ClassActions.php#L17","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/easy-sticky-sidebar/tags/1.7.4/inc/ClassActions.php#L186","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/easy-sticky-sidebar/tags/1.7.4/inc/ClassActions.php#L193","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?reponame=&old=3524743%40easy-sticky-sidebar&new=3524743%40easy-sticky-sidebar","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/7e963601-dc41-4218-9119-708c74e51bc2?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:44:02.134301115+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-4661","score":0.00505,"percentile":0.43168,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
