Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev100, the PREREQFUNCTION-based private IP check was not applied to HTTPRequest (used by the parse_urls API). An authenticated attacker can supply a URL pointing to an attacker-controlled server that responds with a 302 redirect to an internal/private IP address, bypassing the is_global_host() check on the initial URL. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.0b3.dev100.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":5.0},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/pyload/pyload/security/advisories/GHSA-8rp3-xc6w-5qp5","https://github.com/pyload/pyload/security/advisories/GHSA-8rp3-xc6w-5qp5"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46561","score":0.00176,"percentile":0.07033,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-8rp3-xc6w-5qp5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-8rp3-xc6w-5qp5","summary":"pyload-ng: SSRF via HTTP Redirect Bypass in parse_urls API","modified":"2026-07-13T16:43:03.964409910Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"pyload-ng","purl":"pkg:pypi/pyload-ng","ranges":["<0.5.0b3.dev100"],"fixed":["0.5.0b3.dev100"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2991","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2991","summary":"pyload-ng: SSRF via HTTP Redirect Bypass in parse_urls API","modified":"2026-07-13T16:32:35.364273584Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"pyload-ng","purl":"pkg:pypi/pyload-ng","ranges":["<0.5.0b3.dev100"],"fixed":["0.5.0b3.dev100"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
