Through 1.5.0, the validity store uses a strict lower-bound comparison that expires a stored transaction too early relative to Transaction::is_valid_at, allowing a remote attacker to replay the same signed transaction during a blocks_per_batch minus one block window and cause the sender and recipient balances to be updated twice. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-193","CWE-294"],"references":["https://github.com/nimiq/core-rs-albatross/commit/a530b2434ebca6e3716f07c73079786fcc6f2e41","https://github.com/nimiq/core-rs-albatross/pull/3772","https://github.com/nimiq/core-rs-albatross/security/advisories/GHSA-3763-qp59-59vf"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:50:17.453294893+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46369","score":0.00549,"percentile":0.45963,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-3763-qp59-59vf","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-3763-qp59-59vf","summary":"nimiq-blockchain: Validity store off by one error","modified":"2026-08-12T15:41:04.474170Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"crates.io","name":"nimiq-blockchain","purl":"pkg:cargo/nimiq-blockchain","ranges":["<1.5.1"],"fixed":["1.5.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
