An authenticated client could exploit an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the Authorization Services Protection API endpoint. By knowing or obtaining a resource's unique identifier (UUID) belonging to another Resource Server within the same realm, the client could bypass authorization checks. This allows the client to perform unauthorized GET, PUT, and DELETE operations on resources, leading to information disclosure and potential unauthorized modification or deletion of data.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":6.8},"cwes":["CWE-639"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:19596","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:19597","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-4630","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2450245"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T13:39:24.642594360+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-4630","score":0.00304,"percentile":0.22937,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-c739-f6xw-6pv2","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-c739-f6xw-6pv2","summary":"Keycloak Protection API allows authenticated clients to access and modify resources owned by other Resource Servers","modified":"2026-08-26T01:11:35.195681367Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<26.6.2"],"fixed":["26.6.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
