The data that is read is emitted via evdev if the\nDS4_TOUCH_POINT_INACTIVE bit happens to be set. Protect against this by\nclamping the num_touch_reports value provided by the device to the\nmaximum size of the touch_reports array.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0bc4cf1a6ba00fb8c074531b179bc7b97502fbc4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/208f6d5b1dfd6399bc6af9e11f27f1f496243ed0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7812694752a5f295eaa05a093b90a2c332666051","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9c031b24aed6733b6dcc5d98527875b8654a04e9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cac61b58a3b6340c52afa06bb15eac033158db2f"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46232","score":0.00258,"percentile":0.17491,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
