The putcs implementations for the rotated buffer\nwill return early in this case. See [1] for an example.\n\nCurrently, fbcon_rotate_font() keeps the old buffer, which is too small\nfor the rotated font. Printing to the rotated console with a high-enough\ncharacter code will overflow the font buffer.\n\nv2:\n- fix typos in commit message","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-125"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/46cf3646dea54baeaa2eafe3fb1ba769947f31b0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/524a6079395916fb3d790ef2bb46a1d2939b27dd","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/594973a2e54924d8ba31c9faac669fc1ba6fcb80","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7105d9f1387d63b15c9a860674fc92c959181f2f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ab6c34b9829d5de03f1d08a47a2253729a6e7e27"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46191","score":0.00137,"percentile":0.03072,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
