If\n8821CE is installed in the system with such a PCI topology, the probing\nroutine will crash. This has probably been unnoticed as 8821CE is mostly\nsupplied in laptops where there is a PCI-to-PCI bridge located upstream\nfrom the device. However the card might be installed on a system with\ndifferent configuration.\n\nCheck if the bridge does exist for the specific workaround to be applied.\n\nFound by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Svace static\nanalysis tool.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/000134a20bbf89b1152520a2eef71f91fdb83a5b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3b89b4c095804c478d50376285e66700cf3c045f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3bbbb56204f7359ce2139a9341b43b52a186261c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6c53d68e3bcfc8faccdd76c3383a9232b05c9ae6","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/959c13da6c36167ce1016d400a6104d2367f686e"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46092","score":0.00136,"percentile":0.02993,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
