This is inconsistent with\nlandlock_restrict_self() which can set LOG_SUBDOMAINS_OFF on a\ncredential without creating a domain (via the ruleset_fd=-1 path): the\nfield is committed but not preserved across fork() because the child's\nprepare_creds() calls hook_cred_transfer() which skips the copy when\ndomain is NULL.\n\nThis breaks the documented use case where a process mutes subdomain logs\nbefore forking sandboxed children: the children lose the muting and\ntheir domains produce unexpected audit records.\n\nFix this by unconditionally copying the Landlock credential blob.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":3.3},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1c513b8a00df13d231021e74ad92babb3fedf64a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2fcde49092aac55d5beef43fdd3633217672f7d1","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/874c8f83826c95c62c21d9edfe9ef43e5c346724"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46057","score":0.00118,"percentile":0.01711,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
