However, pll_rate is only updated in\natc_pll_init() and not in hw_pll_init(), so it remains 0 after the\ncard init.\n\nWhen spdif_passthru_playback_setup() skips atc_pll_init() for\n32000 Hz, (rsr * desc.msr) always becomes 0, causing the loop to spin\nindefinitely.\n\nAdd fallback to use atc->rsr when atc->pll_rate is 0. This reflects\nthe hardware state, since hw_card_init() already configures the PLL\nto the default RSR.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/09496158f6ebba8830593f8972035c02f97124c1","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/25ded535ee261161bcf19dafd525c542e606559d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/30f9494c6f2b53a78822cfb653ffbb1d092d44c8","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/615b7a5e5d8be68d52f262579906f7e015ba4606","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7d61662197ecdc458e33e475b6ada7f6da61d364"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-46049","score":0.00123,"percentile":0.0201,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
