{"cve":"CVE-2026-45719","nvd":{"published":"2026-05-27T18:16:26.010","modified":"2026-06-17T10:52:30.050","status":"Deferred","description":"Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.38.1, the V1 Views API (POST /api/views) accepts a calculation parameter from the request body that is interpolated directly into a CouchDB reduce function definition without validation. Although an internal SCHEMA_MAP object defines the valid calculation types (sum, count, stats), no actual validation is performed against this map before the value is used in string interpolation. A user with Builder permissions can inject arbitrary JavaScript code that will be executed within the CouchDB JavaScript engine when the view is queried. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.38.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-94"],"references":["https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/releases/tag/3.38.1","https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/security/advisories/GHSA-363w-hvwh-w7m6","https://github.com/Budibase/budibase/security/advisories/GHSA-363w-hvwh-w7m6"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-45719","score":0.00263,"percentile":0.18146,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-363w-hvwh-w7m6","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-363w-hvwh-w7m6","summary":"Budibase: CouchDB Reduce Injection via Unsanitized Calculation Parameter in V1 Views API ","modified":"2026-09-10T03:51:04.361804784Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@budibase/server","purl":"pkg:npm/%40budibase/server","ranges":["<3.38.1"],"fixed":["3.38.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
