Prior to 1.2.2, an attacker who can MITM the TLS connection between the client and the IDP (within the TI network) can substitute a forged discovery document. The forged document redirects uri_puk_idp_enc and uri_puk_idp_sig to attacker-controlled URLs. The client then encrypts the SMC-B-signed challenge response to the attacker's encryption key and POSTs it to the attacker's auth endpoint. This captures the signed authentication material. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.2.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":7.4},"cwes":["CWE-347"],"references":["https://github.com/oviva-ag/epa4all-client/pull/36","https://github.com/oviva-ag/epa4all-client/security/advisories/GHSA-gqx7-6552-67hf"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-45575","score":0.00118,"percentile":0.01697,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-gqx7-6552-67hf","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-gqx7-6552-67hf","summary":"Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature in com.oviva.telematik:epa4all-client","modified":"2026-06-08T23:45:13.399733147Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"com.oviva.telematik:epa4all-client","purl":"pkg:maven/com.oviva.telematik/epa4all-client","ranges":["<1.2.2"],"fixed":["1.2.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
