Prior to 3.0.18, early return on missing user during login flow allowed an attacker to enumerate valid user accounts via response timing discrepancy. When an email address existed in the database, the backend performed a bcrypt password comparison before returning a 401 Unauthorized, adding ~370 ms of latency. When the email did not exist, the backend returned immediately (~10 ms). This ~14× timing difference could be detected without any difference in HTTP status codes or response bodies. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.18.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-203","CWE-208"],"references":["https://gist.github.com/jubnl/c2402adf85d946c1730867aeecc794de","https://github.com/mauriceboe/TREK/security/advisories/GHSA-3552-3c98-x79r","https://github.com/mauriceboe/TREK/security/advisories/GHSA-3552-3c98-x79r"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:36:28.938604137+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-45410","score":0.00205,"percentile":0.10506,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
