Prior to 0.5.11, there is a blind server side request forgery (SSRF) via the PDF generate function. In the PDF export, user inputs are interpreted as HTML and embedded into the PDF. According to tests, scripts and some potentially dangerous tags (iFrame, Object, etc.) are blocked, preventing server-side content from being read through this vulnerability. However, an image tag can be used to force a server-side request (SSRF), as shown in the following below. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.11.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui/security/advisories/GHSA-f776-fp4w-266c","https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui/security/advisories/GHSA-f776-fp4w-266c"],"products":["openwebui:open_webui"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:35:16.954578616+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-45347","score":0.00186,"percentile":0.08183,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-f776-fp4w-266c","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-f776-fp4w-266c","summary":"Open WebUI vulnerable to blind server side request forgery (SSRF) via the PDF generate function","modified":"2026-07-13T16:42:50.586699021Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"open-webui","purl":"pkg:pypi/open-webui","ranges":["<0.5.11"],"fixed":["0.5.11"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2723","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2723","summary":"Open WebUI vulnerable to blind server side request forgery (SSRF) via the PDF generate function","modified":"2026-07-13T16:32:19.843914192Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"open-webui","purl":"pkg:pypi/open-webui","ranges":["<0.5.11"],"fixed":["0.5.11"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
