{"cve":"CVE-2026-45049","nvd":{"published":"2026-10-29T22:17:02.400","modified":"2026-10-29T22:17:02.400","status":"Received","description":"Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.1, the `Cross-Domain Single Sign-On` (`CDSSO`) servlet allows a logged-in user's raw OpenAM session token to be POSTed to an attacker-controlled URL. An attacker who induces an authenticated victim to visit a crafted URL can receive the session credential and potentially hijack the session. Deployments must have `CDSSO` enabled, as is common in multi-domain deployments, and exploitation is additionally gated on a non-default configuration being absent. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.3},"cwes":["CWE-201"],"references":["https://github.com/OpenIdentityPlatform/OpenAM/commit/bda647f8540d8fb28aaaed716914692678c5a0a7","https://github.com/OpenIdentityPlatform/OpenAM/releases/tag/16.1.1","https://github.com/OpenIdentityPlatform/OpenAM/security/advisories/GHSA-r9pv-5rpp-vm8g"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-29T22:40:52.243131144+00:00"},"epss":null,"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-r9pv-5rpp-vm8g","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-r9pv-5rpp-vm8g","summary":"OpenAM Unauthenticated Session Hijacking via Information Exposure in CDCServlet","modified":"2026-10-28T15:45:11.004943239Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.openidentityplatform.openam:openam-federation","purl":"pkg:maven/org.openidentityplatform.openam/openam-federation","ranges":["<16.1.1"],"fixed":["16.1.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
