{"cve":"CVE-2026-45012","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-12T21:16:22.720","modified":"2026-10-26T11:10:00.157","status":"Deferred","description":"ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions up to and including 4.29.0 contain an authenticated server-side request forgery (SSRF) in the rich-text widget import flow. An authenticated user who can submit/edit rich-text widget content can cause the server to fetch attacker-controlled URLs during widget validation. For image-compatible responses, the fetched content can be persisted and re-hosted by Apostrophe, allowing response exfiltration. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:L","score":7.6},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/apostrophecms/apostrophe/security/advisories/GHSA-pr28-mf3q-qpg6","https://github.com/apostrophecms/apostrophe/security/advisories/GHSA-pr28-mf3q-qpg6"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T11:33:08.859761529+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-45012","score":0.00197,"percentile":0.09384,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-pr28-mf3q-qpg6","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-pr28-mf3q-qpg6","summary":"Apostrophe has authenticated SSRF in rich-text widget import via @apostrophecms/area/validate-widget","modified":"2026-06-12T22:15:09.497190330Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"apostrophe","purl":"pkg:npm/apostrophe","ranges":["<=4.29.0"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
