{"cve":"CVE-2026-44792","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-23T17:16:59.670","modified":"2026-10-26T11:10:00.157","status":"Analyzed","description":"n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an attacker with write access to the git repository connected to an n8n Source Control configuration could commit a malicious Data Table JSON file containing a crafted column name. When an administrator performed a Source Control Pull, n8n imported the file and could lead to SQL injection on the internal PostgreSQL instance. Exploitation requires the n8n instance uses PostgreSQL as its database backend, the Source Control feature is enabled and connected to a repository the attacker can write to, and an administrator triggers a Source Control Pull. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","score":8.9},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.0},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/security/advisories/GHSA-mhrx-qhrj-673w"],"products":["n8n:n8n"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T11:33:08.859761529+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-44792","score":0.00387,"percentile":0.32484,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-mhrx-qhrj-673w","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-mhrx-qhrj-673w","summary":"n8n Has a Source Control Pull SQL Injection","modified":"2026-07-20T13:45:33.787185895Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"n8n","purl":"pkg:npm/n8n","ranges":["<1.123.43"],"fixed":["1.123.43"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"n8n","purl":"pkg:npm/n8n","ranges":[">=2.21.0 <2.21.1"],"fixed":["2.21.1"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"n8n","purl":"pkg:npm/n8n","ranges":[">=2.0.0-rc.0 <2.20.7"],"fixed":["2.20.7"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
