From version 2.5.6 to before version 4.6.34, PraisonAI ships a legacy Flask API server with authentication disabled by default. When that server is used, any caller that can reach it can access /agents and trigger the configured agents.yaml workflow through /chat without providing a token. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.34.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-306","CWE-668","CWE-1188"],"references":["https://github.com/MervinPraison/PraisonAI/security/advisories/GHSA-6rmh-7xcm-cpxj","https://github.com/MervinPraison/PraisonAI/security/advisories/GHSA-6rmh-7xcm-cpxj"],"products":["praison:praisonai"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:55.586217763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-44338","score":0.32591,"percentile":0.9834,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-6rmh-7xcm-cpxj","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-6rmh-7xcm-cpxj","summary":"PraisonAI ships and generates a legacy API server with authentication disabled by default, allowing unauthenticated workflow execution","modified":"2026-07-22T05:44:31.262886744Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"praisonai","purl":"pkg:pypi/praisonai","ranges":[">=2.5.6 <4.6.34"],"fixed":["4.6.34"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2904","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2904","summary":"PraisonAI ships and generates a legacy API server with authentication disabled by default, allowing unauthenticated workflow execution","modified":"2026-07-13T16:33:01.606728615Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"praisonai","purl":"pkg:pypi/praisonai","ranges":[">=2.5.6 <4.6.34"],"fixed":["4.6.34"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
