Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev100, pyload-ng WebUI returns full Python traceback details to clients on unhandled exceptions. Because /web/<path:filename> is reachable without authentication and renders attacker-controlled template names, an unauthenticated user can reliably trigger a server exception (for example by requesting a non-existent template) and receive internal stack traces in the HTTP response. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.0b3.dev100.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-209"],"references":["https://github.com/pyload/pyload/security/advisories/GHSA-c3gc-9pf2-84gg","https://github.com/pyload/pyload/security/advisories/GHSA-c3gc-9pf2-84gg"],"products":["pyload:pyload"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:55.586217763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-44226","score":0.00336,"percentile":0.27069,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-c3gc-9pf2-84gg","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-c3gc-9pf2-84gg","summary":"PyLoad vulnerable to unauthenticated traceback disclosure via global exception handler in WebUI","modified":"2026-07-13T16:43:06.837973926Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"pyload-ng","purl":"pkg:pypi/pyload-ng","ranges":["<0.5.0b3.dev100"],"fixed":["0.5.0b3.dev100"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2993","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2993","summary":"PyLoad vulnerable to unauthenticated traceback disclosure via global exception handler in WebUI","modified":"2026-07-13T16:32:41.275333282Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"pyload-ng","purl":"pkg:pypi/pyload-ng","ranges":["<0.5.0b3.dev100"],"fixed":["0.5.0b3.dev100"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
