Prior to 7.0.7, 7.3.2, and 7.4, a CMS user with limited access to pages could copy a page they don't have access to to an area of the site they do. Once coped, they'd be able to view its contents, and potentially publish it. Permissions were correctly checked for the copy destination, but not for the source page. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.7, 7.3.2, and 7.4.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-280"],"references":["https://github.com/wagtail/wagtail/security/advisories/GHSA-67rv-mg8q-5pf3"],"products":["torchbox:wagtail"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:55.586217763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-44200","score":0.00201,"percentile":0.09973,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-67rv-mg8q-5pf3","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-67rv-mg8q-5pf3","summary":"Wagtail has improper permission handling when copying pages","modified":"2026-06-08T20:00:10.989844048Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"wagtail","purl":"pkg:pypi/wagtail","ranges":["<7.0.7"],"fixed":["7.0.7"]},{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"wagtail","purl":"pkg:pypi/wagtail","ranges":[">=7.1 <7.3.2"],"fixed":["7.3.2"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-149","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-149","summary":"","modified":"2026-05-20T09:19:23.155861Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"wagtail","purl":"pkg:pypi/wagtail","ranges":["<7.0.7",">=7.1 <7.3.2"],"fixed":["7.0.7","7.3.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
