But we fail to properly\nclear rm->data.op_nents.\n\nLater when rds_message_purge() is called from rds_sendmsg() the\ncleanup loop iterates over the incorrectly non zero number of\nop_nents and frees them again.\n\nFix this by properly resetting op_nents when it should be in\nrds_message_zcopy_from_user().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-415","CWE-1341"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/03014551938a0887fa55f18ce49b70158a9c0113","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0bbbff00a15b1df2cac9014d6cf4b6890f473353","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/290e833d1acb1093bc121fcdc97f5e6161157479","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/640e37f58f991546a87540d067279c2c1fa9fe51","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/9115669faedccdda100428e2d26fd0aac8c50799"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-43494","score":0.00411,"percentile":0.35093,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
