{"cve":"CVE-2026-4347","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-02T06:16:23.297","modified":"2026-06-17T10:56:27.237","status":"Deferred","description":"The MW WP Form plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file moving due to insufficient file path validation via the 'generate_user_filepath' function and the 'move_temp_file_to_upload_dir' function in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to move arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is moved (such as wp-config.php). The vulnerability is only exploitable if a file upload field is added to the form and the “Saving inquiry data in database” option is enabled.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mw-wp-form/tags/5.1.0/classes/controllers/class.main.php#L271","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mw-wp-form/tags/5.1.0/classes/models/class.directory.php#L138","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/194ee4a0-87c3-42e5-9676-8dd355838b78?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-4347","score":0.01295,"percentile":0.70349,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
