However, these\ndevices are already suspended, making them unable to complete the write-intent\noperations and causing an indefinite block.\n\nFix:\n\n- Prevent bitmap flushing when md_stop() is called from dm-raid\ndestructor context\n and avoid a quiescing/unquescing cycle which could also cause I/O\n\n- Still allow write-intent bitmap flushing when called from dm-raid\nsuspend context\n\nThis ensures that RAID array teardown can complete successfully even when the\nunderlying devices are in a suspended state.\n\nThis second patch uses md_is_rdwr() to distinguish between suspend and\ndestructor paths as elaborated on above.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/24783dd06de870d646c25207bae186f78195f912","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/338378dfffbdbb8d37a18f0a0c0358812671f91e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/63054027d95200b04f3cf624faa7817e0555d56a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cefcb9297fbdb6d94b61787b4f8d84f55b741470"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-43309","score":0.00122,"percentile":0.01992,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
