In the case where i + 1 == optlen, this causes an\n out-of-bounds read, accessing memory past the optlen boundary\n (either reading beyond the stack buffer _opt or the\n following payload).","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:H","score":8.2},"cwes":["CWE-125"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/07a9b32eaae792ff7d0fcac14d8920c937c0a9c3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5e13d0a37666955b6cfddc0f73cb40ed645b8a05","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/735ee8582da3d239eb0c7a53adca61b79fb228b3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8b300f726640c48c3edfe9c453334dd801f4b74e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cd5beda7e0e32865e214f28034bb92c1cecff885"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-43190","score":0.00463,"percentile":0.39876,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
