If the lock is contended,\nskip ntfs_refresh_zone() - the MFT zone will be refreshed on the\nnext MFT operation. This breaks the circular dependency since we\nnever block waiting for run_lock while holding wnd->rw_lock.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-667"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/08ce2fee1b869ecbfbd94e0eb2630e52203a2e03","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/76016d15bbd90caa0ce7765fddf9bde8e943e601","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b014372b62237521444ee51384549bdf48b79015","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b8d22d9d8260b0f4f4d8e2898c98037c9982ea66","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d60f09d2d16c44a797d8cb67015cde2508720506"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-43127","score":0.0012,"percentile":0.0179,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
