For states\nwith if_id, build_aevent() can fail with -EMSGSIZE and hit BUG_ON(err < 0)\nin xfrm_get_ae(), turning a malformed netlink interaction into a kernel\npanic.\n\nAccount XFRMA_IF_ID in the size calculation unconditionally and replace\nthe BUG_ON with normal error unwinding.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-131"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2c41283d94af943a05f7f2cc1a01f0c872f3cf43","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/58e5735d1a5373652f405a0c16e54ac04aaab0ad","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7081d46d32312f1a31f0e0e99c6835a394037599","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e62e322ea20be78e346e4b49f9a6b9f03313af4c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f8f3bb89ab677db15f9f5250c77af728f9afe995"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-22T16:41:11.231219466+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-43107","score":0.00155,"percentile":0.04632,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
