From 5.0.1252.0 to before 6.0.1698.0, an integer divide-by-zero exists in the UFS/UFS2 filesystem image parser in NanaZip. The vulnerability is triggered when opening a crafted UFS image where the superblock field fs_ipg (inodes per cylinder group) is set to zero. The parser uses this attacker-controlled value as a divisor without validation, causing an immediate hardware trap and process crash. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.0.1698.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-369"],"references":["https://github.com/M2Team/NanaZip/security/advisories/GHSA-3x2h-gqqw-g3gm"],"products":["m2team:nanazip"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T18:27:13.530666824+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-42443","score":0.00146,"percentile":0.03802,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
