Prior to 1.4.6, 1.5.6, and 1.6.0-beta.5, a SQL injection vulnerability in Saltcorn’s mobile-sync routes allows any authenticated low-privilege user with read access to at least one table to inject arbitrary SQL through sync parameters. This can lead to full database exfiltration, including admin password hashes and configuration secrets, and may also enable database modification or destruction depending on the backend. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.6, 1.5.6, and 1.6.0-beta.5.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.9},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://github.com/saltcorn/saltcorn/security/advisories/GHSA-jp74-mfrx-3qvh","https://github.com/saltcorn/saltcorn/security/advisories/GHSA-jp74-mfrx-3qvh"],"products":["saltcorn:saltcorn"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:09.003606135+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41478","score":0.00264,"percentile":0.18256,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jp74-mfrx-3qvh","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jp74-mfrx-3qvh","summary":"Saltcorn: SQL Injection via Unparameterized Sync Endpoints (maxLoadedId)","modified":"2026-05-05T16:11:49.060092Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@saltcorn/server","purl":"pkg:npm/%40saltcorn/server","ranges":["<1.4.6"],"fixed":["1.4.6"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@saltcorn/server","purl":"pkg:npm/%40saltcorn/server","ranges":[">=1.5.0-beta.0 <1.5.6"],"fixed":["1.5.6"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@saltcorn/server","purl":"pkg:npm/%40saltcorn/server","ranges":[">=1.6.0-alpha.0 <1.6.0-beta.5"],"fixed":["1.6.0-beta.5"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
