Prior to 10.0.5, requesting a static js/css resources from _astro path with an incorrect/malformed if-match header returns a 500 error with a one year cache lifetime instead of 412 in some cases. This has the effect that all subsequent requests to that file, regardless of if-match header will be served a 5xx error instead of the file until the cache expires. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.0.5.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-525"],"references":["https://github.com/withastro/astro/security/advisories/GHSA-c57f-mm3j-27q9","https://github.com/withastro/astro/security/advisories/GHSA-c57f-mm3j-27q9"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T21:38:48.864438205+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41322","score":0.00238,"percentile":0.14659,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-c57f-mm3j-27q9","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-c57f-mm3j-27q9","summary":"Astro: Cache Poisoning due to incorrect error handling when if-match header is malformed ","modified":"2026-05-05T16:05:45.465800Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@astrojs/node","purl":"pkg:npm/%40astrojs/node","ranges":["<10.0.5"],"fixed":["10.0.5"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
