Prior to 3.1.0, the GET /api/v1/public-chatflows/:id endpoint returns the full chatflow object without sanitization for public chatflows. Docker validation revealed this is worse than initially assessed: the sanitizeFlowDataForPublicEndpoint function does NOT exist in the released v3.0.13 Docker image. Both public-chatflows AND public-chatbotConfig return completely raw flowData including credential IDs, plaintext API keys, and password-type fields. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.7},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-w47f-j8rh-wx87"],"products":["flowiseai:flowise"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T21:38:48.864438205+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41278","score":0.00421,"percentile":0.36146,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-w47f-j8rh-wx87","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-w47f-j8rh-wx87","summary":"Flowise: Public chatflow endpoints return unsanitized flowData including plaintext API keys, passwords, and credential IDs","modified":"2026-05-05T16:26:27.717521Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"flowise","purl":"pkg:npm/flowise","ranges":["<3.1.0"],"fixed":["3.1.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
