{"cve":"CVE-2026-41276","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-23T20:16:16.270","modified":"2026-10-26T22:10:00.163","status":"Modified","description":"Flowise is a drag & drop user interface to build a customized large language model flow. Prior to 3.1.0, this vulnerability allows remote attackers to bypass authentication on affected installations of FlowiseAI Flowise. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the resetPassword method of the AccountService class. There is no check performed to ensure that a password reset token has actually been generated for a user account. By default the value of the reset token stored in a users account is null, or an empty string if they've reset their password before. An attacker with knowledge of the user's email address can submit a request to the \"/api/v1/account/reset-password\" endpoint containing a null or empty string reset token value and reset that user's password to a value of their choosing. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:P/PR:N/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":7.7},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-287"],"references":["https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-f6hc-c5jr-878p","https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-f6hc-c5jr-878p"],"products":["flowiseai:flowise"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T22:26:44.656832877+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41276","score":0.0687,"percentile":0.94011,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-f6hc-c5jr-878p","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-f6hc-c5jr-878p","summary":"Flowise: resetPassword Authentication Bypass Vulnerability","modified":"2026-05-05T16:11:45.447491Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"flowise","purl":"pkg:npm/flowise","ranges":["<3.1.0"],"fixed":["3.1.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
