Prior to 3.1.0, the Chatflow configuration file upload settings can be modified to allow the application/javascript MIME type. This lets an attacker upload .js files even though the frontend doesn’t normally allow JavaScript uploads. This enables attackers to persistently store malicious Node.js web shells on the server, potentially leading to Remote Code Execution (RCE). This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-434"],"references":["https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-rh7v-6w34-w2rr","https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-rh7v-6w34-w2rr"],"products":["flowiseai:flowise"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T21:38:48.864438205+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41269","score":0.00472,"percentile":0.40549,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-rh7v-6w34-w2rr","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-rh7v-6w34-w2rr","summary":"Flowise: File Upload Validation Bypass in createAttachment","modified":"2026-05-05T16:26:35.940264Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"flowise","purl":"pkg:npm/flowise","ranges":["<3.1.0"],"fixed":["3.1.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
