{"cve":"CVE-2026-41249","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-04T20:16:57.797","modified":"2026-10-06T22:10:00.247","status":"Deferred","description":"CoreShop is a Pimcore enhanced eCommerce solution. In versions 5.0.1 through 5.1.0-beta.1,, the GitHub Actions workflow (`.github/workflows/static.yml`) uses the `pull_request_target` trigger but dangerously checks out the unverified code from the pull request head (`ref: ${{ github.event.pull_request.head.ref }}`). Subsequently, it executes a script (`bin/console`) from this untrusted checkout. This allows any external attacker to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the GitHub Actions runner simply by submitting a malicious Pull Request. Also known as a \"Pwn Request\" vulnerability. As of time of publication, `pull_request_target` is still in the file.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N","score":8.2},"cwes":["CWE-94"],"references":["https://github.com/coreshop/CoreShop/blob/5.1.0-beta.1/.github/workflows/static.yml#L14","https://github.com/coreshop/CoreShop/commit/cc1e3f547228ec5ebfc1dc0472f9a3cc5f4137a4","https://github.com/coreshop/CoreShop/security/advisories/GHSA-q58j-g3f4-h26h","https://github.com/coreshop/CoreShop/security/advisories/GHSA-q58j-g3f4-h26h"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:37:48.043517290+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41249","score":0.00549,"percentile":0.45686,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
