{"cve":"CVE-2026-41186","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-30T15:16:31.677","modified":"2026-08-08T01:20:02.913","status":"Analyzed","description":"When Calico's shared debug server is enabled (disabled by default), the Calico kube-controllers and Goldmane components bind their Go pprof debug listener to 0.0.0.0 without authentication. Any pod with network reachability to the listener can retrieve the process heap, goroutine stacks (including function arguments), and command-line arguments. Depending on the process's in-memory state, the heap may contain sensitive material. The debug listener is opt-in but is unsafe when enabled because it offers no authentication and no safe localhost-only binding option.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:L","score":6.0},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-200","CWE-489"],"references":["https://github.com/projectcalico/calico/pull/12491","https://github.com/projectcalico/calico/pull/12633","https://github.com/projectcalico/calico/pull/12634","https://www.tigera.io/security-bulletins/tta-2026-004/"],"products":["tigera:calico"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:46:40.600842820+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41186","score":0.00666,"percentile":0.51854,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
