Api::ResourceManager forwards the id straight to blobstore.get(id) / blobstore.delete(id). When the director is configured with the local blobstore provider, Blobstore::LocalClient#object_file_path(oid) is File.join(@blobstore_path, oid) (local_client.rb:54-56) with no normalisation, so oid = \"../../jobs/director/config/director.yml\" resolves outside the blobstore root.\n\nAffected versions:\nBOSH Director: All versions prior to v282.1.12","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:H/AT:P/PR:H/UI:P/VC:N/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:L","score":4.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:N/I:H/A:L","score":5.8},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://www.cloudfoundry.org/blog/cve-2026-41009-local-blobstore-may-allow-arbitrary-reads-deletes/"],"products":["cloud_foundry:bosh"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T11:33:08.859761529+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-41009","score":0.00099,"percentile":0.00806,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
