The server contains a vulnerability where EC (Elliptic Curve) private keys are inadvertently exposed through the public /token_keys endpoint. This endpoint is designed to provide public key material for JWT token verification but incorrectly exposes private key components for EC keys. The vulnerability affects deployments using EC keys for JWT token signing. The vulnerability does not affect RSA key configurations, only deployments using EC keys for JWT signing.\n\nAffected versions:\n- uaa_release: v76.12.0 through v78.12.0 (inclusive); fixed in v78.13.0 or later\n- CF Deployment: v30.0.0 through v56.0.0 (inclusive); fixed in v56.1.0 or later (bundles uaa_release v78.13.0)","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:L/SC:H/SI:H/SA:L","score":10.0},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:L","score":10.0},"cwes":["CWE-200"],"references":["https://www.cloudfoundry.org/blog/cve-2026-40965-uaa-ec-private-key-disclosure/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:37:48.043517290+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-40965","score":0.00346,"percentile":0.28156,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
