{"cve":"CVE-2026-40623","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-24T00:16:28.860","modified":"2026-10-26T21:10:00.170","status":"Analyzed","description":"A vulnerability in SenseLive X3050's web management interface allows critical system and network configuration parameters to be modified without sufficient validation and safety controls. Due to inadequate enforcement of constraints on sensitive functions, parameters such as IP addressing, watchdog timers, reconnect intervals, and service ports can be set to unsupported or unsafe values. These configuration changes directly affect core device behaviour and recovery mechanisms. The lack of proper validation and safeguards allows critical system functions to be altered in a manner that can destabilize device operation or render the device persistently unavailable.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":7.2},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/cisagov/CSAF/blob/develop/csaf_files/OT/white/2026/icsa-26-111-12.json","https://senselive.io/contact","https://www.cisa.gov/news-events/ics-advisories/icsa-26-111-12"],"products":["senselive:x3500_firmware"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T21:38:48.864438205+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-40623","score":0.00324,"percentile":0.25232,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
