This authentication vulnerability allows a remote attacker to replay `ExecuteActionsActionToken` tokens within Keycloak's WebAuthn (Web Authentication) flow. By intercepting an execute-actions email link, an attacker can register their own authenticator to a victim's account. This leads to unauthorized enrollment of a hardware-backed credential, enabling persistent account takeover.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":6.8},"cwes":["CWE-294"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:19596","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:19597","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-37982","https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2455329"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T13:39:24.642594360+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-37982","score":0.0044,"percentile":0.3799,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-w4p5-rfh6-cwrv","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-w4p5-rfh6-cwrv","summary":"Keycloak: Unauthorized account takeover via WebAuthn token replay","modified":"2026-08-26T01:11:37.889365812Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<26.6.2"],"fixed":["26.6.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
