In isotp_continue_receive (receive.c:87-89), the payload_length for a Single Frame is extracted from a 4-bit nibble in the CAN frame data, yielding values 0-15. However, a standard CAN frame is only 8 bytes, with payload starting at data[1] (7 bytes available). When payload_length exceeds the available data (e.g., nibble=15 but only 7 payload bytes exist), memcpy(message.payload, &data[1], payload_length) reads up to 8 bytes past the end of the data buffer.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:H","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-126"],"references":["https://gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/apps/agl-service-can-low-level","https://gist.github.com/sgInnora/8526eedcfd826d05ef1fc45d8f405643"],"products":["linuxfoundation:automotive_grade_linux"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:09.003606135+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-37532","score":0.00232,"percentile":0.1418,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
