{"cve":"CVE-2026-3657","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-12T03:15:57.923","modified":"2026-06-17T10:43:55.690","status":"Deferred","description":"The My Sticky Bar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL injection via the `stickymenu_contact_lead_form` AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.6. This is due to the handler using attacker-controlled POST parameter names directly as SQL column identifiers in `$wpdb->insert()`. While parameter values are sanitized with `esc_sql()` and `sanitize_text_field()`, the parameter keys are used as-is to build the column list in the INSERT statement. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject SQL via crafted parameter names, enabling blind time-based data extraction from the database.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mystickymenu/tags/2.8.6/mystickymenu.php#L2001","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mystickymenu/tags/2.8.6/mystickymenu.php#L2386","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mystickymenu/tags/2.8.6/mystickymenu.php#L2396","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/mystickymenu/trunk/mystickymenu.php#L2386","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?old_path=/mystickymenu/tags/2.8.6&new_path=/mystickymenu/tags/2.8.7"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-3657","score":0.00352,"percentile":0.28847,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
