{"cve":"CVE-2026-35460","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-07T15:17:43.887","modified":"2026-06-17T10:40:38.180","status":"Analyzed","description":"Papra is a minimalistic document management and archiving platform. Prior to 26.4.0, transactional email templates in Papra interpolate user.name directly into HTML without escaping or sanitization. An attacker who registers with a display name containing HTML tags will have those tags injected into the verification and password reset email bodies. Since emails are sent from the legitimate domain (e.g: auth@mail.papra.app), this enables convincing phishing attacks that appear to originate from official Papra notifications. This vulnerability is fixed in 26.4.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79","CWE-80"],"references":["https://github.com/papra-hq/papra/security/advisories/GHSA-6f8x-2rc9-vgh4","https://github.com/papra-hq/papra/security/advisories/GHSA-6f8x-2rc9-vgh4"],"products":["papra:papra"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:59.047572785+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-35460","score":0.00192,"percentile":0.08873,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
