Versions prior to 7.260227.0 are vulnerable to XSS in the rendering of email-message observable body data. The content of the body field isn't appropriately sanitized when being rendered. Does require user interaction but could be exploited by someone sharing stix or any of the ingester. This could lead to CSRF and then large scale session theft. Version 7.260227.0 contains a fix.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:P/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N","score":5.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/OpenCTI-Platform/opencti/security/advisories/GHSA-rg6r-x26x-63vq"],"products":["citeum:opencti"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:37:48.043517290+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-35212","score":0.00149,"percentile":0.04053,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"PYSEC-2026-203","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-203","summary":"","modified":"2026-06-06T10:30:04.771805081Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"pycti","purl":"pkg:pypi/pycti","ranges":["<7.260227.0"],"fixed":["7.260227.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
