Prior to version 2.24.0, there is an arbitrary prototype read vulnerability via `from` field bypass. This vulnerability allows a low-privileged authenticated user to bypass prototype boundary filtering to extract internal functions and properties from the global prototype object this violates data isolation and lets a user read more than they should. This issue has been patched in version 2.24.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P","score":2.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-125","CWE-200"],"references":["https://github.com/SignalK/signalk-server/releases/tag/v2.24.0","https://github.com/SignalK/signalk-server/security/advisories/GHSA-qh3j-mrg8-f234"],"products":["signalk:signal_k_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-35038","score":0.00314,"percentile":0.24355,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-qh3j-mrg8-f234","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-qh3j-mrg8-f234","summary":"Signal K Server: Arbitrary Prototype Read via `from` Field Bypass","modified":"2026-04-03T04:26:26.749154Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"signalk-server","purl":"pkg:npm/signalk-server","ranges":["<2.24.0"],"fixed":["2.24.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
