{"cve":"CVE-2026-34993","nvd":{"published":"2026-06-02T20:16:34.857","modified":"2026-09-04T13:19:29.700","status":"Modified","description":"AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to version 3.14.0, using ``CookieJar.load()`` with untrusted input may allow arbitrary code execution. Most applications using this function will be doing so with the user's own data, so this is unlikely to affect many applications. Version 3.14.0 patches the issue. If an application does allow attacker controlled files to be loaded, a workaround on older releases would be to sanitize the files before loading.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-502"],"references":["https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/commit/dcf40f30637e8752c76781cf6703b5a236749a00","https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/security/advisories/GHSA-jg22-mg44-37j8","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:24977","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:34456","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:37275"],"products":["aiohttp:aiohttp"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:37:48.043517290+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-34993","score":0.00179,"percentile":0.07465,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jg22-mg44-37j8","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jg22-mg44-37j8","summary":"AIOHTTP is Vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data","modified":"2026-09-10T03:51:08.847676311Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aiohttp","purl":"pkg:pypi/aiohttp","ranges":["<3.14.0"],"fixed":["3.14.0"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2104","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2104","summary":"","modified":"2026-07-13T07:15:12.748393707Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aiohttp","purl":"pkg:pypi/aiohttp","ranges":["<3.14.0"],"fixed":["3.14.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
