Prior to version 4.5.90, passthrough() and apassthrough() in praisonai accept a caller-controlled api_base parameter that is concatenated with endpoint and passed directly to httpx.Client.request() when the litellm primary path raises AttributeError. No URL scheme validation, private IP filtering, or domain allowlist is applied, allowing requests to any host reachable from the server. This issue has been patched in version 4.5.90.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.7},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/MervinPraison/PraisonAI/security/advisories/GHSA-x6m9-gxvr-7jpv","https://github.com/MervinPraison/PraisonAI/security/advisories/GHSA-x6m9-gxvr-7jpv"],"products":["praison:praisonai"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:59.047572785+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-34936","score":0.0035,"percentile":0.28635,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-x6m9-gxvr-7jpv","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-x6m9-gxvr-7jpv","summary":"PraisonAI: SSRF via Unvalidated api_base in passthrough() Fallback","modified":"2026-07-13T16:43:19.699623803Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"praisonai","purl":"pkg:pypi/praisonai","ranges":["<4.5.90"],"fixed":["4.5.90"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2924","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2924","summary":"PraisonAI: SSRF via Unvalidated api_base in passthrough() Fallback","modified":"2026-07-13T16:33:03.448972590Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"praisonai","purl":"pkg:pypi/praisonai","ranges":["<4.5.90"],"fixed":["4.5.90"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
