Prior to version 1.8.0, the PUT /api/v1/subscriber/{imsi} API accepts an IMSI identifier from both the URL path and the JSON request body but never verifies they match. This allows an authenticated NetworkManager to modify any subscriber's policy while the audit trail records a fabricated or unrelated subscriber IMSI. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":2.7},"cwes":["CWE-20"],"references":["https://github.com/ellanetworks/core/releases/tag/v1.8.0","https://github.com/ellanetworks/core/security/advisories/GHSA-xw45-cc32-442f"],"products":["ellanetworks:ella_core"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:59.047572785+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-34762","score":0.00192,"percentile":0.08884,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-xw45-cc32-442f","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-xw45-cc32-442f","summary":"Ella Core Has Audit Log Falsification via Path/Body IMSI Mismatch in UpdateSubscriber","modified":"2026-06-25T23:11:05.286540169Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/ellanetworks/core","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/ellanetworks/core","ranges":["<1.8.0"],"fixed":["1.8.0"]}]},{"id":"GO-2026-5770","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2026-5770","summary":"Ella Core Has Audit Log Falsification via Path/Body IMSI Mismatch in UpdateSubscriber in github.com/ellanetworks/core","modified":"2026-06-25T23:01:17.092307787Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/ellanetworks/core","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/ellanetworks/core","ranges":["<1.8.0"],"fixed":["1.8.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
